Woke up this morning with one of the kittens sitting on my chest, not sure which one as I wasn't really awake enough to tell, and by the time I'd eaten they were both in the main room. It made getting food a bit difficult, but was cute. I've found a small tupperware to keep the snacks in by my bed so the cats won't get to them, which isn't ideal, but keeps me from walking into the furniture.

Kabaji-san, anything in particular on the schedule for today? Other than the usual, of course - and thank you again for the baking tips yesterday, they were quite helpful.

Atobe-sama, I do hope I'm not getting in your way too much, is there anything further you require from me? Or shall I continue as I have been?

Shishido, I'm sorry I never got time to swing by on Tuesday - I may be able to find some time in the next few days, if we aren't too busy, but...When are you leaving for Winter Holidays?

Eiji, Happy Birthday, I'm sorry I'm a little late. I have a present for you, I'll drop it by later, if you're not busy.

Also, a general notice to all Luna residents: Following December 13th, I will be practicing my violin in my room, as I no longer have music room access. If at any point, my playing is keeping you from studying or sleeping or anything else, just knock on the door and I will stop for the day. I apologize in advance if this bothers any of you.

Kabaji-san, when should I arrive on Tuesday? And is there anything in particular I should or should not bring with me?

[ooc: Eiji probably got some nice chocolate for baking/hot chocolate making and some translated traditional german recipes for him to try]

Kabaji-san the kittens were very cute, thank you so much for letting me come visit them.

I'm glad the play was a success. That being said - Saeki-sama, Yuushi-sama, should you ever decide to do something like this again, kindly leave me out of it. I will happily help with music or costumes but I must insist that any acting parts go to people who actually want them.

Oishi, I'm going to retire for the night, do you need anything before I go?

[ooc: about the play - Tori had a mild panic attack about ten-fifteen minutes before the curtain went up - of the 'don't make me go out there please I'll do anything' variety. Someone (Eiji? I assume they're in the same dressing room, but whoever is fine) got Yanagi, who calmed him down and he did go onstage and do alright (probably messed up once or twice but recovered okay) - but he was dead terrified for the whole thing and skipped the after party/ducked away from any congratulations and headed back to the room immediately to curl up with tea and try and calm down. If your character is a butler, feel free to have them have been there/heard about it, I don't know if Sae or Yuushi would have been told yet, but if they have, that's fine. The other students are probably unaware, unless you want to say their butler told them.]

I can't believe the play is so soon. The costumes are very nice, though - I'm not certain who arranged them but whoever it was, well done.

Oishi-sama, is your family coming down for Parents weekend? Also, we haven't discussed plans for winter break. I can return to Tanaka-sama's estates, if need be.

Renji-san, are you feeling up to our usual cooking lesson, or should I just come by after rehearsal to talk? I know you're probably still catching up on things from when you were sick...

Edit:

Eiji, I've heard you have a really good recipe for hot chocolate - I was wondering if you'd be willing to share it? Oishi's family is coming down for parents weekend, I thought hot chocolate might be preferable to his sister than tea.

Well, the play's a week away. I hadn't realized it was so soon. Just one more week until I hope it goes well, I've been trying to practice my lines when I can. I guess it's a good thing it's been so busy, I haven't really had time to get nervous yet I've been so focused on other things.

Violin lessons are still going quite well, I'm actually almost done with the Vivaldi which is truly incredible considering how little I've been able to practice and how crazy things have been finally. I'm not quite sure what we'll be working on next, Yoshida-sensei seems to enjoy being mysterious about it, either that or he really does want me to focus on finishing the current piece before we move on. Probably the latter, actually.

Tezuka-sama, it was nice having you over for dinner the other night, I know I'm not as good a cook as Renji-san, but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless.

On that note, Renji-san are you feeling any better? Should I bring up some soup? You shouldn't push yourself to hard while recovering, if you need help please let me know.

Oishi, you seem a bit stressed lately, do you need anything?

Oishi-sama, Shishido and Renji-san have offered to teach me breakfasts these next few weeks, so there may be a few nights where I head out after I'm done with my evening chores, and come back in the morning. I hope that's alright?

Shishido? If you don't think you'll be too busy, could you perhaps come by my violin practice on Monday? I...would like to talk to you about something and I need a few days to recover from explaining to Oishi-sama

Well, Halloween was certainly...interesting I had no idea there were so many teenagers males who would willingly crossdress why on earth was Konjiki-sama Marie Antoinette?. Everyone's costumes looked wonderful.

Yagyuu-sama, I believe I am in possession of something that belongs to you. I would like to give it to you as soon as possible.

[ooc: I'm working under the assumption that Yanagi is still hacking tori's posts, cause at this point tori kind of expects it, and I don't mind. I have talked this over with Yanagi-mun]

I think my Halloween costume is finished - I was able to rent a period-appropriate coat at the second store you sent me to Eiji, it turned out the proprietor's daughter was familiar with the series. I already have the shirt and pants from my uniform, and a bow tie tucked away somewhere. Yanagi-san, I assume you know how to get your hands on a straightener? I also found a costume shop and got myself a pair of dog ears - they're white, not silver, but they should work. And no, Oishi, the collar does not have a leash.

Have there been any plans made for rehearsals for the play? I need all the help I can get.

I still can't believe they cast me in the play - and not even a peripheral part either. I want to curl up in a corner and not come out until it's over This really isn't going to work well.

Oishi, I got permission to go down to the village tomorrow, to look for the rest of my costume, will you need anything? Also, Yanagi-san, this may mean that I'm late or unable to make our cooking lesson, we'll have to see how long things take me.

Violin lessons are going well. I'm getting more used to the Stradivarius, which is good. Yoshida-sensei seems to think that the Vivaldi piece is coming along nicely, which I think is a little strange as I'm still getting tons of corrections, but then again he is the expert, so perhaps I'm wrong.

Also, I have a question - this may just be me being naive, but is it normal to have so many students and butlers arrive when the year is already in full swing? Not that I really mind, it just seems rather strange, I suppose, and I'm wondering if it's always like this.

Screened to Oishi-sama )

Also, I think I've decided to go as Pluto from Kuroshitsuji for Halloween - mostly for the simplicity of the costume, I don't think my sewing skills are up to making more than one.

That being said, does anyone know where I can find a collar?

Oishi, it was nice having lunch with you - perhaps we should try and do that more often, if you don't need to work on your homework each lunch period? How are things with Eiji-san?

Also, it has come to my attention Thank you ever so much Eiji-san that I need to start figuring out my halloween costume - and I'm afraid I have no ideas. Suggestions?

Edit: Oishi, may I stay over at Yanagi-san's Tuesday night? I promise I'll be back in time to make you breakfast the next morning.

Well, it looks like things have calmed down a little - though I did hear that Kenya-sama somehow got himself hurt, does anyone know what happened?

Oishi, there's still some of the leftover fondue in the fridge, let me know if you would like any - if not I'll take it with me to my next cooking lesson find some use for it.

Shishido, would you like to meet again for lunch this week? We still haven't managed to turn any of those into cooking lessons, and I would like to learn how to make the...'okonomiyaki', was it? that you brought to the potluck.

I had my second violin lesson yesterday. Yoshida-sensei is quite strict, but I think I'm getting a lot better - we worked on one of the parts of the Vivaldi piece I've been having trouble with and I finally managed to get it. It's still a little strange though, Oishi you're sure you didn't tell him anything other than I haven't had lessons for a while?

Shishido, we're still on for lunch today right? You're not too jetlagged?

Yanagi-san...thank you for your help last night. It was fun.

Eiji, I'm meeting up with Yanagi-san tomorrow afternoon after my violin lesson to try and make the hot chocolate - I know it's rather short notice but could you run me down to that store tonight, perhaps?

Oishi-sama, I'm fine, really.

Happy Birthday, Shishido.

what

(no subject)

I had my first music lesson yesterday. It was...interesting. To be honest, I'm not quite sure how it went. Yoshida-sensei had me play several pieces, both on the Stradivarius and on my own violin - Oh, Tezuka-sama, he was quite impressed with the quality of the Stradivarius and told me to pass on my compliments to the restoration team, apparently you did a wonderful job. Anyway he had me play a bunch of pieces, and then said I could go. He seemed rather surprised about something, though I'm not sure what. Oishi, did you tell him anything?

The cooking lessons are going well - I hope you enjoyed the dish last night Oishi, that was one of the new ones. On that note, Yanagi-san asked if I could perhaps spend the night this sunday, so that he could teach me how to make a traditional breakfast in the morning. Is that alright?

[ooc: a note on Yanagi and Ohtori's 'relationship' - and yanagi-mun, let me know if you don't like this - while they are not actively hiding it, they're not running around telling people either. So, at the moment, Tori, Yanagi, Oishi and Yuushi (because oishi told him) know that they are 'together', and as far as I know they are the only people who know.

that being said, assume tori freaked and screened yuushi's comment to Oishi before anyone could see it - so only Oishi and Yuushi and him know it is there and can comment.

sorry that was so long >.

I hope everyone enjoyed hearing the Stradivarius - Zaizen-sama, if you want to take another look at it, please just let me know.

Kabaji-san, thank you for helping me practice, the other day. I think I'm going to try that recipe for Oishi-sama tonight.

Yanagi-san...um, I enjoyed last night. Same time today? What are we making? How is Tezuka-sama doing?

Right, so...Music lessons with Yoshida-sensei on Wednesday's at two, my own practices most afternoons during the school week, cooking lessons with Yanagi-san in the evenings - what was it, three times a week did we decide? - more cooking lessons with Shishido (we never did figure out when to do those) probably around lunchtime, Kabaji-san for whenever I want to practice any of that, plus all of my duties for Oishi-sama.

Suddenly, it seems I've become rather busy. Oh, well, busy is good Keeps my mind of things I really shouldn't be thinking about like how Shishido is apparently kissing Inui-sama and not thinking about it!

Those wishing to hear the Stradivarius, are you all free this afternoon, perhaps around 4ish? It probably won't be for very long - I've no wish to keep any of the butlers from their dinner preparations and quite frankly Oishi-sama probably doesn't want his room taken over for too long...
